I'm a filmmaker, creator, outdoor educator, musician, and storyteller who loves bringing ideas to life. Whether it's editing, shooting, writing, animating, producing, hosting, or developing a concept from scratch, I enjoy every part of the creative process. I'm just as comfortable filming in the wilderness as I am in the editing suite or behind a microphone.
My work spans documentary filmmaking, branded content, photography, podcasts, music, radio, and outdoor storytelling. I currently serve as Wilderness Project Coordinator for Friends of the Superior National Forest, where I lead volunteer stewardship projects in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness while creating media that inspires people to connect with and protect wild places.
I'm a 2025 Crystal Pillar Award recipient from the NATAS Upper Midwest Emmy Foundation for writing and hosting an episode of the Reel to Reel movie review podcast. I've also worked as a sports video producer for CBS MaxPreps, shooting, editing, writing, and hosting high school sports features throughout Minnesota. Today, I host a radio show on WTIP North Shore Community Radio and continue producing independent creative work through Sky Water Studios, Wild Places Adventure, and my band, Wailing Loons.
If you're looking for someone to shoot, edit, animate, write, host, brainstorm, or help bring a creative project to life... whether in the studio, the boardroom, or the backcountry... I'd love to collaborate. Reach out through my social media or the contact page, and let's create something together.
